Continuing with Jonathan
We were playing with shapes today
"Jonathan, where's the square?"
(points) "Gare!"
"Good! Where's the circle?"
(points) "Gegle!"
"Good! Where's the triangle?"
(points) "Di-gagle!"
"Good! What COLOR is the triangle?"
(gives mommy a look of disgust, points to the last shape, which mommy hadn't mentioned) "Oc-gon!"
Yes, that's right folks. My son, who can't even say "food" or "Gram" can not only SAY "octagon" but also recognize one! (All right, it was actually a hexagon, but that's pretty good for a 20 month old.)
And you should hear him say "Handy Dandy Notebook"
